> JIDNYASA
Jidnyasa (Quest):
Adolescent Sensitization Program of 18 hours for 9th Standard students (both girls and boys) of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and also in 8 districts in Maharashtra every year since 1996. The programme is run in coordination with the Institute for Psychological Health and with help from the Mumbai Police. It has already spread in various districts of Maharashtra and covered 1,00,000 students so far.

Future Plans
• Extension of the programme to the private schools of Mumbai
• Expansion of Jidnyasa to maximum districts of Maharashtra
• Systematic efforts for the inclusion of this material in the syllabus of Standard IX of the secondary schools
• Publication of the manual in Marathi
• Translation of the manual into Hindi and English |
